July 11, 2012 – Robert Kirsch defended his dissertation, entitled "Market Challenges to Democracy:  the Political Economy of Hyman Minsky".  Kirsch's dissertation committee included Timothy W. Luke (Political Science), Daniel Breslau (STS), Robert Stephens (History), and Chad Lavin (Political Science).  He is the fourth ASPECT Ph.D. student to defend since the inception of the program.
