Welcome

Welcome to the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) website for the International Social Theory Consortium (ISTC). This is our inaugural year with the consortium.

The consortium started with the first of its annual conferences in 2000. It is designed to bring together social theorists from around the world to in pursuit of a multidisciplinary dialogue between social theorists of all disciplines, occupations, theoretical perspectives and intellectual traditions.
